Love Our Rother
Saturday 17th February, 10 am to 2 pm
Our theme for 2024 is From Pollution to Solution. Find out more here.
We will be doing a pick on Wednesday 14th February at 9.45am to collect rubbish for the event. Please email if you can help.

Three Rivers project
This exciting new project will be run by Strandliners in collaboration with local councillors, Rother Voluntary action, local WI members and local experts. Find out more here.

What to look for in February

Each month we will be asking you to look out for particular items on your local beach or river bank. This month we are asking you to look for container spill items such as Otrivin bottles, Nestle tea capsules, Zeller lids and even Lego (see image above). More information in our marine debris identification leaflet or in our blog.

Past Events

Strandliners in the news!
Following our nurdle hunt at Camber Sands last October, an article appeared in the Guardian.

Winter walk
What a wonderful group we had for our winter walk in January! We found fossils, discovered dinosaur footprints and surveyed the seals from a safe distance. Read more in the next edition of The Fulmar.

Social media Presence

We appreciate your support through subscribing to this newsletter, please share with friends and family. Another way to help Strandliners reach a greater audience is through our social media presence. We are notoriously slow at keeping up with social media, but if all subscribers were able to support through following us and liking, sharing and/or reposting, it would really helpful in boosting our presence.
