Strandliners has teamed up with Rother Voluntary Action to help work towards keeping our marine and riverine environment clean with the Clean Seas Please project. www.cleanseasplease.uk
Welcome to the very busy August/September news sheet. We have new subscribers almost every day now, thank you for your support.
I don’t wish anyone to think they have to take part in any or every beach survey and clean up, you are all invaluable supporters who can also pass on the Strandliners message.
Everyone in the Strandliners family has a part to play, whether joining an event, passing on this news sheet to friends and family, discussing your thoughts and ideas with us and more.
Indeed, if anyone with website, treasurer, fundraising or marketing skills has any spare time and wishes to help, please email me at strandlinerscic@gmail.com.
I hope that working with Rother Voluntary Action in Bexhill on the Clean Seas Project I will be able to meet more of you.
Enjoy the rest of the summer,
Andy Dinsdale

Camber Sands Brand Audit
5pm to 8.30pm Sunday evenings
We will park at the Harbourmaster’s Yard and walk down the river path to the beach. There could be 3 or 4 surveys towards the end of a busy day at Camber Sands in August. This is to begin identifying the types of rubbish left by visitors. This summer is bringing higher numbers of visitors and the resulting rubbish left is greater than ever. Diplomacy is needed and safety for ourselves will be paramount. Experience of a brand audit survey desirable but open to all!
Please email strandlinersevents@gmail.com to book a place.
