Past Events
Lewes brand audit survey
We were blessed with another glorious day for our Lewes survey in July. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers, we found 700 items in our survey, almost 70% of which was food packaging. This was despite a cleanup the week before. Well done to a brilliant team of surveyors!
Visit to Newhaven ERF
We were able to visit the energy recovery facility with a group from the Rye Community Garden. The facility is filling the gap between recycling and landfill, burning 650 tonnes of our rubbish each day. You can read about our visit here. Strandliners hopes to arrange a trip if enough people are interested.
